For sale is a figurine made by Minton in the mid to later 19th century. I do believe she is called \"Morning Girl\" and the piece is of girl tying her shoes and she is done in parian porcelain - an unglazed version of porcelain meant to imitate marble. The paste is so smooth and shows the detail so well since there is no glaze to obscure it. The figurine is in great condition with the shoe laces missing for the most part and a little bath would be nice. She is 3.5 inches tall, 2.125 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep. The base is unmarked but this is a known Minton piece and I own a marked example as well.
