Antique AC Universal KK Spark Plugs Set of 7 in original boxes with extra box, made by AC Spark Plug Company of Flint Michigan in the early to mid 1930\'s.
In the early 1930\'s, AC Spark Plugs created a \"UNIVERSAL\" line of spark plugs for those smaller operators who could not afford to carry the full line of AC products. They were sold by size, as opposed to by \"heat\", like the regular plugs. In this way, the operator could carry a few plug sizes and \"adequately service\" a wide range of models.
This is a set of 7 seven \"KK\" Universal plugs, which were designed to fit all 14mm size plug applications.
There\'s a chart with the pictures from the 1933 United Motors Service Catalog which shows potential fits, including Chevrolet, Chrysler, Desoto, Dodge, Essex, Hudson, Nash, Packard, Pierce Arrow, Plymouth and Pontiac models.
These are NOS - New Old Stock plugs that have never been installed, in their original boxes. The boxes show wear and tear from nearly 90 years, but are still reasonably fresh. Some slight surface rust on a few of the plugs.
