Antique 1909 wire mesh metal trash Garbage can steampunk Industrial Signed ! Northwestern Expanded Metal Co. Chicago, Pat\'d Nov, 2, 1909. Has a name on top of the maker but cannot make out do to all the rust. We recently wire wheeled the trash can with a drill, then coated the bottom with fiberglass matting and resing, super strong and will last a lifetime ! Bottom had good size rust holes and needed to be worked on, bottom sides have some small holes still.......... There\'s a good size hole in the wire mesh seen in pictures. Trash can is strong and sturdy and is now very clean with the gloss black rustoleum spray paint. Really cool thing about this can it\'s signed and dated on bottom. I would have never thought it to be as old as it is. Even with the damage this will still be a awesome trash can and I don\'t think no one will even notice unless you tell them. Turn the cans hole to the wall or desk side. Measures approx. 12\" tall x 12\" round at the top then bevels down to 9\" at the bottom. Great piece of history ! Sold as is as found with no warranty\'s.
