I have not attempted to clean or restore this at all.. The neck is straight, has all pegs, missing a machine head and screw - missing the floating bridge (easy to make or find a replacement) the rear of the bow back has some separation at seams as you can see in a few places. I am not an expert in antique stringed instruments - I did see the tail piece has a 1886 patent date, which leads me to believe this instrument was made in that year or soonafterward - the tailpiece is marked RWB - the top has a crack as well - I hope my pictures are helpful - the inside paper tag is missing most of its material so I cannot figure out who the actual maker of this is... any help is appreciated!
