Lot of 2 Antique CombsThe larger comb is beautifully carved real tortoise shell. Magnificent depth in the carving is not done justice by the photos!
Dark, rich colour. It has, most unfortunately, one broken tooth. The break is fairly clean and could possibly be repaired. The tip of the separated tooth is missing.
Overall dimensions approximately: 3-1/2\" long by 4-3/4\" wide.
The other comb is in excellent condition. Lighter colour, faux tortoise shell, with lovely fan-shaped top.
Overall dimensions approximately: 4-1/2\" long by 3-1/4\" wide.
