The pin is an oval shape a basic turquoise color and beautiful flowers in shades of whites, reds, pink. The edges are a rope twist style. I see no markings indicating what metal was used although it is a combination of silver and brass shades. It has a very early hinge finding and c-clasp or catch. It\'s in very good condition. The pin measures approximately 2\" long by 1 1/4\". Many of these were made in Italy, but I see no indication of the maker or origin. Lovely and very hard to find! Come from a private home in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
