This is a wonderful and very heavy set of metal bookends with figural busts of Shakespeare. These rare bookends will be an impressive addition on any bookshelf or desk!

The metal has a deep bronze patina. The \"L\" portion of the bookends is cast iron. The Shakespeare bust is made of a metal that a magnet is not attracted to, either brass or white metal.

The back of each bookend is stamped with the Bradley and Hubbard B&H mark. There is green felt on the bottom of each book end.

Each bookend measures approximately 5-3/4 inches tall by 4-1/2 inches wide by by 2-3/4 inches deep.

These bookends have substantial weight. Each weighs more than 5-1/2 pounds, with the pair totaling about 11 pounds 5 ounces.
