The shaped handles are embellished with reed decoration ornamented with a chased fruiting vine design.
The blades of these fine grape shears are plain and unembellished.
These impressive shears are fitted to a hinged leatherette, satin and velvet lined box.
Condition
These antique grape shears are an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
The chased decoration is very sharp.
The box is also in excellent condition in keeping with age.
Full hallmarks struck to the interior blades are very clear.
