This is an antique honey dish in the \"paneled thistle\" pattern. My research indicates that this design was made by Higbee from 1908 to 1920. This item is not marked but does glow under a black light (see 4th photo). The box measures about 5.5\" square at the base. The lid has several chips on the underside of the rim (the inner lip) and some pinhead fleabites as well. The base has some pinhead fleabites along the top rim and rough mold marks as well.
