Antique Papier Mache Doll

Antique papier-mache doll
Papier mache shoulder plate, arms, & legs
Excelsior stuffed muslin body
Arms are cloth jointed with strips of muslin
Beautifully painted face with rosy cheeks & a rosy red closed mouth
Brown glass eyes are stationary
Original blonde mohair wig - but hair is thin at the back
I think the shoes & socks have been replaced at a later date
Circa 1880s

Maker: Unknown. Probably German in crazing in her face (see photos)

Face needs a little cleaning

Hair is thin on the back & needs combing

Muslin body has yellowed with age

Shoes & socks are dusty

Payment must be received within 4 days of the closing date of the sale. Otherwise, your item will be relisted. I accept PayPal. Items paid through PayPal will be shipped to the address registered with PayPal.

RETURNS: Returns are accepted. For a refund to be made, the item must be returned in the same condition as when it was originally shipped. It must also be packed in the same manner as when it was originally shipped, & it must be returned within 14 days of receipt. Refund will be made through PayPal.

CLOTHING RETURNS: Clothing must be in unworn condition & have the original tags attached in order to receive a refund.
