This listing is for an Antique Persian Lilahan or Bakhtiari Oriental Rug Carpet with an early Transitional Design and colors on a Navy / Blue Ground measuring 84 inches by 126 inches overall.In excellent condition with good pile throughout with no foundation visible.Exceptional Archaic Design Sets this rug apart with its later counterparts and dates it back to very early part of 20th century . center has lower pile .Variant blue field.Very heart warming.Exceptional brilliant vegetable and natural dyes .Ends are had secured.This rug has been soak washed by a textile conservator and it shines brilliantly. It is clean enough to touch face with.Cotton Foundation and Wool Pile.I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic site.
