For sale is an antique collection of Daguerreotype, Ambrotype and Tintype photographs from the mid 1800\'s. The two children photos are Daguerreotypes. Both are on silver plated polishedmetal plates and show the negative of the photos if you look at them on an angle. Both have a little tarnish of the silver. The girl only has half a case, and the boy has none, (just the brass frame and glass covering over the photo). The third photo of a man in a suite is an Ambrotype. The photo itself is on glass, with painted rosy cheeks. Some of the photo is lifting from the glass in spots. It\'s full case is present, but the two halves are separated. The fourth photo is a tin type of a Husband and Wife. It\'s full case is present, but the two halves are separated also. All of the photo\'s came from one estate. It looks like the children are the same people as the husband and wife. --- you can make that call. All photo\'s are 2 3/4 x 3 1/4 in their brass frame, but without the case. They are 3 1/4 x 3 3/4 with the case. A very nice collection of very early photo\'s. Please ask questions
