Charming antique 1900\'s (or earlier) turkey redwork quilt is hand embroidered and hand quilted, with wonderful pictorial blocks with an unusual amount of detail. This is a wonderful heirloom piece made with red cotton sashing and border.....the border red is darker than the sashing red, hand embroidered with RED Victorian motifs on unbleached muslin, including one square that features the makers initial \"H\". The hand quilting is very nice......I have attempted to show the hand quilting (last photo). This quilt is in real nice for its age there are no stains or holes, the binding is in very nice condition, there is couple light storage spots & some minor wear on the red sashing (as shown). This does not detract from the quilt it just adds to the character of this lovely gem. I have not laundered this lovely gem, I will leave that to the lucky winner.
