This was my grandmothers for many years. I acquired it about 25 years ago. It is an original print by Maude Goodman in 1869. When I got the frame and print I had it rematted to the new mat and backing with acid free materials. The frame has some added gold paint but could be painted back to its original black color.
The matte inside is nice quality with a gold edge and brown that would not discolor the print. The print is in color and stamped\"painted by M Goodman on the outside of the printed picture then on the picture is the signature Maude Goodman 69. She was a British painter. The picture is \"Songs of Love\".
This is a beautiful picture and frame with a wire back and glass front.
The measurements are 21.5\" x 25.5\" inside matte andÂ
27.5\" x 31.5\" for the frame
