Beautiful Art Nouveau Bowl and Pitcher, with matching vanity containers, for hair brushes and soap. Hand painted green designs with gold accents encircle all the ivory colored pieces, made by Wanda of Poland. (I think. According to the makers mark on the bottom, and what I could find on the internet. If I am wrong, please let me know). All items in terrific condition, except for the bowl, which has 4 tiny hairline cracks around the rim. I took a photo of the largest one, the rest are smaller. There is also places where the gold leaf is worn, to be expected . (In the photos you can see some dark spots under the rim of the bowl, which are exactly like the markings seen on the bottom of all ceramics, where they stand the item up off the kiln floor, to keep it from sticking. These areas never have glaze, which is just how these spots look. I\'ll have to say that they\'re from manufacture, and not damage. Big in size, pitcher is 12\" X 10\". And bowl measures 15.5\" X 5.5\" . The soap dish, ( 6\" X 4\" X 4\"), even retains its original drain pad, which was wrapped nicely and stored inside of lidded dish. It\'s perfect! As is the hairbrush and comb holder, 8.5\" X 4\" X 4\". It\'s amazing to me to find something this old, in such wonderful condition, you will be pleased as well.
