It took me several months to figure out what this is. It is a hand carved wooden war club from the Solomon Islands. It measures 19\" long by 3.25\" wide at its widest. It has a elongated diamond shape to it and has hand carved or burned decoration on it.Ireceivedthis with a largecacheof antique weapons from all of the world. The original owner had purchased all of them from Heritage sales as way to hide money during a messy divorce. Most of the items still had their tags from the sale on them so we were able to readily identify them but this one no longer did. And since the owner bought them on a whim, he had no idea what it was any more either.It is in antique condition, has some minor splitting from time but is still in solid condition.
