This is great antique five-figure bisque nodding group of the Russian Royal Family
“The Romanovs”.
The Russian family appears warmly dressed in their ankle length coats with fur collars and hats.
Mom and dad stand in back , two children sit with their pet dog and the third standscenterabove the sweet dog.
It is marked EB onthe bottom along with the number 153 attributable to Ernst Bohne Sohne, Rudolstadt factory.
The piece is aprox 4 ¼” tall, 4 1/2” across, and 4 1/2” deep. There is a crack inside underneath from thefactory. All pieces are there but the nodder
mechanisms needs to be reattached in some cases. Thank you, enjoy!
The sad news is the family was killed on July 17, 1918.
