Beautiful length of very old small scale red & soft cream cotton homespun check plaid. Wonderful old primitive piece I discovered in Cape Cod many years ago along with a hand made early sham made from this & have hung on to for a very long time. This has always felt a bit like a loomed piece more so than factory milled though I\'m not certain so will not call it loomed. Smooth and wonderful quality cotton, tiny checks. It is beautifully primitive in nature, the once probably much deeper red has mellowed over time to a lovely almost dusty berry red. A lovely old piece for an abundance of period projects and perfect scale for primitive doll making/dressing..
Condition is very nice for it\'\'s age, again the color has mellowed giving it a more aged appeal. I have never laundered this so may have a small age spot.
Measures 25 inches wide by 20 inches\' long~ I have 2 \"individual\" pieces of this lovely textile left.
