Up for sale are these charming depictions of famous folks from the pages of the original Vanity Fair, a British weekly magazine published from 1868 to 1914. The Life magazine of its day, perhaps, it offered its readers articles on fashion, current events, the theatre, books, social events and the latest scandals. Most issues featured a full-page, color lithograph of a contemporary celebrity or dignitary, and it is for these caricatures that Vanity Fair is best known today. Each measures 10\" x 15\" and are invery good, gently-used condition as pictured, some with minor tears at edges that would be concealed by a mat.
