This robe is made from a purple silk fabric with finely woven stripes throughout overlaid with prolific roundel motifs.Decorative pale gold silk bands to front openings collar and cuffs depicting scrolls, butterflies and floral designs.The lining is formed from a very soft long curly fur including the insides of the sleeves.The main body of the purple silk fabric is in excellent condition throughout also the fur lining is in excellent condition.Overall this robe is in very good condition for its age although there are few issues to mention.A darker colour variation to front left of robe : see photoA little fading to the lower silk decorative band which also has two small areas of breaks to the silk.Please note all buttons for closure are missing but replacements can be purchased online.This robe is in its original state
