Antique Quadruple Silverplate 6 Piece Tea Set signedFORBES Silver Co; Quadruple Plate. Includes 2 Teapots; Large ServingTray; Waste Bowl; CoveredSugar Bowl; Creamer. This isForbes Pattern#176. (The tray is not signed). Forbes was a subsudiary company of Meriden Britannia. The set iscirca 1885 -1890. Beautiful pattern! Beautiful ornate feet on each piece and on the tray! Very elegant Victorian pattern! All is in super condition; hinges on lids are perfect; no major dents (just a couple of dings that are not noticable at all); no silver loss, polished beautifully; very clean inside and out (see photos). The tray has a minor blemish (scratch) (see photo close-up) but really doesn\'t hurt its display or its use. The teapots are 8\" and 9\" tall respectively; the Large covered bowl is 7\" tall; the open bowl and creamer are 4 3/4\" tall. The tray is 23\" x 15 1/2\". This is a GORGEOUS SET! Shipping in the continental US is by packaged weight of 40 lbs8 oz.
