This listing is for a charming vintage / antique unframedlithographicprint depicting a glamorousyoung lady wearing high heeled Mary Jane shoes, black stockings, am unbuttoned silk top, a fur hat and a fur muff. She seems to be roasting chestnuts but as you look close you realise she is roasting hearts

It is titled \"La Croqueuse de Coeurs\" (Heart Eater or Heart breaker). I think the text below the image translates as \"Are they really hot, those hearts? They don\'t look well roasted to me yet\", but my French is quite rusty, so I might be wrong.

Although Raphael Kirchner was renowned for Art Nouveau style, this print and other prints from this portfolio already show influence of emerging Art Deco style.

Condition: very small mark in in top left corner, very mild yellowing around the edges, but overall in very good condition, especially given that it is over 100 years old
