Up for offer is this wonderful heavy Antique Metal 3 PC Hinged Rabbit chocolate mold holding an Easter Egg with a basket at its feet. It is a compact beauty- well detailed and in beautiful condition inside and out.DETAILS:
The rabbit is standing on a mound of grass and he\'s holding an Easter Egg between his paws A detailed basket is at his feet. I do not see any stamped ID.SIZE:
The rabbit in closed position is 6 1/2\"H and abt 4 1/2\" W. The two larger hinged pieces are held by a 6\" hinge. The bottom has a hinged piece- sort of an oval shape - that is 3 3/4 \" L x 2 1/4\"W. The hinge for the bottom piece is 2 1/2 \" L When open, the mold is 8\" W -at its widest- X 6 1/2\" HCONDITION:
Excellent! The outer surface has a soft deep shine and the detail is still crisp. Very little age wear to the two larger hinged pieces. The bottom hinged piece has some age wear on the inner side with scratches from use as you would expect.The inside is amazing- the tinning is still bright and shiny and ready for chocolate. There are two clips, One clip is soldered along the edge just under the head and above the paws. and folds over to connect. The other clip is soldered into the bottom hinged piece and has a roller on it. Both are in very good working condition.
