Offeing my very last length of this phenomenal and very rare to find 19thc French cotton silk in unused condition. This piece came to me via Germany but is French in origin; a piece I acquired for my own personal collection. It has a lovely botanical floral featuring roses & lilies & an abundance of flora; a bit denser in weight and at a glance would almost appear to be a very refined twill though once you touch it you can feel the silk. Would be amazing used for pillows, light upholstery or even an item of clothing, say a vest perhaps or a lovely one of a kind handbag, bodice etc...I believe it\'s hand printed. In it\'s day this would have been very costly to acquire. Again condition appears unused and stored very well. I saw no apparent issues especially for the age of this piece, aprox mid 1800\'s or so. May have a small age spot or tiny fiber pull simply from time and having been handled but overall it is an outstanding piece of early French cotton silk. A museum quality piece in my opinion. The hues are a bit deeper and somewhat earthier in person, a bit hard to capture with my camera.
