Beautiful and rare to find early 19thc Mulhouse toile pelmet piece in a most lovely bird/fruit pattern. Originally produced in Alsace, France somewhere between the turn of the 19thc and 1830\'s. Please view all photos as there are some lovely elements in this design for projects. Perfect for restoring, framing or reworking into an abundance of projects as there is also a bit of the fabric on the back side. This could easily be used on a plain colored early loom woven linen or an early vichy type check as a central medallion if you wanted to extend the size & use it as a larger window piece for example. Lots of possibilities. A rare & wonderful early French find.Measures aprox 23\" wide by just under 12\" long at it\'s longest scallop.
