ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON WHITE & GOLD ENAMELED TEA CUP AND SAUCER, HB3005, CA 1922 - 1927

Royal Doulton is one of the most recognizable and collectible porcelain manufacturers in the world. Today I have up for sale a very special piece of Royal Doulton History:

Beautiful White and Gold Lace Embossed Tea cup and Saucer made by Royal Doulton
Condition of both cup and saucer is excellent - The heavily enameled pieces have an intricate gold lattice type of decoration. The gold trim and enameling are intact, there is no wear
MARKS: It has the Dark Green Royal Doulton Mark of a Lion over the made in England Doulton Mark. NOTE - THERE IS NO CROWN UNDER THE LION FIGURE - THIS MARK WAS ONLY USED BY DOULTON FOR A VERY LIMITED PERIOD - 1922 - 1927
CUP - Height: 2-1/4\" Diameter to Handle - 4:
Saucer: Diameter: 5\"

I often find the earlier Royal Doulton pieces to be of greater artistic value than the later years and they do not look mass-produced like later pieces can.

This would be great addition to any antique English porcelain or decorative plate or Royal Doulton collector
