Welcome to my sale!For your consideration, I\'m offeringa rare sizeBennington, Rockingham Spongeware bowl or dish from the late 1800\'s. It\'s 8 1/4\" long, 5 3/4\" wide, and 1 3/4\" deep. Condition is amazing for its age. Along one edge there appears to be a manufacturing defect/glaze skip. I found 4 miniscule glaze chips along the edge but you must look hard to find them. As is common with thisrough, bubbled pottery, there are a couple of burst bubbles. Overall condition is very nice.
