Lovely RARE Antique Repousse Sterling Silver Victorian Vinaigrette Scent Perfume, by La Pierre Manufacturing Company, in a beautiful ornate scroll, paisley, or feather design. Lid engraved.

According toSilvercollecting.com, the La Pierre Manufacturing Company was founded by Frank H. LaPierre in 1885 in New York City at 18 East 14th Street. In 1893, the company was relocated to Newark, New Jersey, and then incorporated in 1895. They were primarily manufacturers of sterling dresser sets, hollow ware, and novelties. The company was purchased by the International Silver Company in 1929 and moved to Wallingford, Connecticut. Not much else is known about the company.

Beautiful antique condition. Screw-on lid seals tightly. Nice patina from age. Slight rubbing and light scratches. No large dents.

Measures 2 7/8\" tall and 1/2\" diameter.
