Antique Rim Lock Door Knob Set box lock Civil War Era bennington BLW #305 1863:

Up for sellA single vintage rim door lock that is marked BLW. ( both sides shown )
The lock is made of cast iron.
The lock box is 4 1/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall.
Has some old white paint on it. I have not tried to remove it.
There is no key included so that part of the lock is untested.
The rest of the lock appears to work the way it should.
Printed on both sides is Patented July 21 1863
Please look at pictures closely looks like a little piece of cast iron chipped out of side where the lock clicks out. Don\'t know for sure.
Nob has a washer on the shaft that is between the nobs.
Each nob has a ring of brass around it.
Each nob has a very pretty design on them.
Patented in 1863, this lock and door nobs could be as old as 151 years old.
