Unmarked, circa 1913 Roseville Pottery Creamware Juvenile Baby\'s Plate, decorated with four standing rabbits. (My research indicates that Roseville did not start marking its creamware patterns until about 1924.)
I have estimated the date of this piece at 1913, because it was handed down in my mother\'s family, from her brother, born in 1913, to her two older sisters, and then to her in 1924.
The condition is very good, in light of being over 100 years old. There is one tiny paint chip on the inside rim, which can be seen in the last photo, above. It is a chip to the glaze only, and not the pottery, and measures about 1/8 inch. There are no cracks, but there is some crazing and paint loss due to wear. There are a few small \"flea bites\", which I have shown in the photos.
The plate measures 7.5 inches in diameter, and 1.25 inches tall. The lip is 7/8 inches deep.
