Fabulous find! RoyalDoulton 9\" Salad Bowl in the Yale pattern.This pattern is rare. This dishis in perfect vintage condition with typical wear of an item of this age. Ithas some staining but no chipping on the face of dish, there is a small nick onthe back.There is crazing so please take a look atthe photos provided

Below is the detailabout the makers mark:

The coronet wasprobably added to the earlier mark c. 1886 to mark the appointment of HenryDoulton as \'Potter to H.R.H. The Prince of Wales\' (later King Edward VI 1), ENGLAND was added underneathafter 1891. This mark continued in use until 1902. It appears to have been usedinstead of B.3 especially on bone china products and on the more expensive earthenwares.

What a wonderful piece of history
