This is an antique Royal Doulton ceramic cereal bowl that features the humorous art of Charles Crombie. This bowl was made by Royal Doulton as part of their Series Ware produced from 1909 and production was stopped in 1932. This bowl is part of their Series Ware that was adorned with golf figures based on the work of Charles Crombie a popular artist of the time who had first depicted these golf images in a book in 1905. This started as a cream colored pottery which was then decorated with transfers and hand painted in themes, one of which was golf. \"Rules of Golf\" Series Ware was first produced by Royal Doulton in 1909. This bowl measures little less than 6 1/2\" in diameter x 1 1/2\" tall. It has the Royal Doulton Hallmark on the bottom, the number 15, an S with a circle around it.
