Offered in this sale is an excellent and scarce early Royal Doulton glazed stoneware motto puzzle jug decorated by artist Olive Dale, c.1902! This piece is This piece is 7\" high overall, 5 1/2\" spout to handle, 4\" diameter at the center. Condition is perfect, excellent glaze, there is no damage of any kind. Fully marked and numbered, as shown in the jpgs. below. This piece just acquired from a south Florida estate, along with a number of other interesting pieces I\'ll be listing over the next weeks. The motto reads \"Within this jug there is good liquor \'tis fit for Parson or for Vicar but how to drink and not to spill will try the utmost of your skill\".
