We have an Antique Royal Doulton Pottery Harvest or Hunting Pitcher!! This is an early one from the very early 1900\'s. It is a salt glazed pitcher and quite shiny. It measures 6 1/4\" tall and is 3 1/8\" at the opening and is 15 1/2\" around the bulbous part. It has an old Royal Doulton mark and a number 2892 and there is a P on the bottom, too. It is in very good condition. There are no chips that I can see anywhere.It is brown and tan and has applied scenes. Around the bottom is a horseman and many dogs chasing a buck deer. At the top are a windmill, two different ones of men at tables and a relief of a man smoking a pipe with a cat at his feet and a tree in the background and another of a tree by itself. All are very detailed. They are all in relief and just perfect. The decoration at the base of the handle is very beautiful and also in relief. The handle is ribbed.
