Over a hundred years old with a fabulous organic modern shape. This Unique hand thrown and finished stoneware vase stands at 11.5 inches tall. Prominently incised in the bottom are Frank Butler\'s usual flamboyant initials and the Royal Doulton Lion and Crown stamp clearly identifies the maker\'s company. Part of the Harriman Judd collection this vase also bears the Sotheby\'s special Harriman Judd label. This exact vase is pictured in the book \"The Doulton Lambeth Wares on page 106. The authors of the book used pottery from the Harriman Judd collection to illustrate their book. Each piece Frank Butler created wasan original and the details of the vase can easily be matched to the one in the book. The vase is in excellent undamaged and unrestored condition.
