Antique Royal Keris Blade estimated to be late 16th to early 17th century. Furniture for blade does not appear to be as old as the blade, Filigree Silverand Solid GoldWith 93 Faceted Silver Encrusted Diamonds, Silver Engraved Sheath, With Engraved Inscription Giving the Owner a Spiritual Blessing of Success and Progress.
This Keris was first brought from the island of Java in 1952
Engraved Text on the backside of the sheath is:
SIDHO-MADJOE.SOLO
Silver Sheath had been coloredor dipped red designating it as belonging to Royalty.
93 Faceted Diamonds intact total, there are 2 small diamondsmissing from thegold ring nearest to the blade. All tested and are Genuine. Estimated 10 carats total weight.
24K Solid Gold ring with Silver diamond settings, as well as a thick layer ofGold under the silver filigree and diamonds.
The diameter of the Round Diamond setting measures 1.4 inches or 35mmacross. The largest diamond measures 5mm across the face the smallest is 1.5mm across the face.
Over all Length is 20 inches.
