The Ohio Valley Exposition was held fromAug 29 to Sept 24, 1910 in Cincinnati to celebrate completion of the world’slargest movable dam. Attending the eventwas Pres. Wm. Howard Taft and also Mrs. A. M. Hamiliton. Mrs. Hamiliton bought a lovely Ruby FlashGlass Canoe as a souvenir of the event. She was obviously a good housekeeper asthe Canoe is in fine condition, no chips or cracks. The only wear is to the base (photo 3) probablyfrom sitting for 116 years on a shelf. There is acrease in the glass from itsoriginal creation (photo 4).
