Antique Russian Crachev Silver & Cut Class Shakers Circa 1885 RARE Antique Russian Crachev Silver & Cut Class Shakers Circa 1885 is the first time this set has been offered for sale on the internet. This rare and important set was made before the Grachev brothers (Rivals of Faberge) got their Imperial Warrant. It is craftsmanship like this that got the attention of Nicholas II. The quality of this set is just amazing! The silver used is very thick and heavy and together this set including the cut glass or crystal bottles is 716 grams which I\'m sure about half of that is silver. Each one measures 8 and 1/8\" tall and 2 1/8\" at its widest. The overall condition is excellent with no issues to report. Not sure exactly what these shakers were used for Though I do know that this basket weave pattern was a common design by the Grachev company. A set of glasses in this pattern sold through Sotheby\'s a few years ago for $23,000. \"Below is the link\"; set is Guaranteed authentic from the period, \"not a later reproduction\"!
