Left under Joseph isin thought; the oldman before him is sometimes interpreted as a devil disguised as a shepherd,trying to arouse doubt to Joseph if he is the true father. Right under thewashing of the child. In the middle on the left the three kings ( Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar) presenting their gifts to Christ. At the topleft an angel who guide the three kingsto the birth scene an in the right an angel who warns the three kings they shouldn’t return to Herod because of his intentionsto kill the Jesus, whom he sees as a rival.
