do not scold me for my lack of knowledge on this item
the original glass cover has been replaced
the top edge of the frame can be removed to slide the glass in and out
the box is hand made with dove tail corners
i have been told the gold sheets are probably gold plating over silver
i have no idea of its age
there is some paint loss as shown in the photo
item will be double boxed, so expect a large package
