Resurrection of Jesus

A unique piece ofreligious hand-painted art on wood,well preserved and in fairly good condition.

This icon was a present to my great-grandmother\'s wedding,held in 1879 in Shakhti, RostovRussia.

Since then it has been kept as a family heirloom.

The icon measures30 X 34 X 9cm (11.8x13.3x3.5 inch) and weighs 1,790 kgr.
A small part of theicon frame (kiot) had been affected during its earlyyearsby woodworm asseen in the photo.
Icon will be postedas a registered package with tracking number and insurance cover.
