Offered is an antique box. Properly hallmarked win the lower left corner with a kokoshnik with 84, J.P and another mark. Also stamped with C.M.C. in the right top corner of the lid. It is Imperial Russian, of Latvian region. Included is the little description tag we found inside. Very unique crest on the lid, with starts of David, Double headed Eagle and crossed keys. Ornate 1906 mounted on the face. The button that opens the lid is a inlaid cabochon. Velvet interior. Box measures 1.5\" tall x 4\" wide x 3 1/8\" deep. Weighs 213 grams. Great condition, light wear. Some felt is unglued from under the lid. This pretty box is offered with , offerding starting low to ensure it finds a happy home!
