This is an authenic 100% antique Russian icon of Christ Pantocrator, painted around 1870 by very skillful icon painter according to the academic Russian school of icon painting .This icon is painted according to the rules of the Russian Orthodox church, Christ looks very merciful and the school of painting is called academic style in which there are preserved the theological rules of the orthodox icon but the figures are elaborated by a very sweet manner that corresponded more to the tendencies of the Russian high society which while was faithful to the Russian orthodox tradition while also open to the western influence.
