In my Travels around the Los Angeles area to find Interesting, Unusual, Antique or Beautiful Selections of Luggage, Purses and Leathergoods items to add to my Shop, I come across some really special pieces and Nearly Lost Treasures.

Many of the Estate Sales I attend are in the most Magnificent Homes which belonged to extremely wealthy, successful people. It is absolutely amazing to me how many beautiful things they had that were never used. Possibly they were impulse purchases or more likely, gifts that were never or rarely used.

This Charming Pair of Snead & Co. Bookends featuring a beautifully executed Sailing or Clipper or perhaps Old Fashioned Galleon Ship in high relief is another lovely find.

They are made of Cast Iron with a rich, warm Copper Finish and Wonderful Depth to the numerous Details. They are dated 1925 and signed on the reverse by the Maker, Snead & Co., Jersey City, N.J. Patent Pending.

They are about 4” Tall and about 4” from Side to Side with a Depth of about 1 ½”. They have rich deep coloring and exhibit the always anticipated surface wear and great patina which one would expect from such aged collectibles – taking into consideration that they are nearly 100 years old.

RETURN POLICY

The item must be received by me no later than 14 days from date you received it.
It must be returned with careful packing, preferably in the same packaging in which you received it. Your purchase price less original shipping as well as a deduction of a 25% Re-Stocking Fee will be refunded back to your PayPal account. You are responsible for the return shipping charges with Tracking Number and Delivery Confirmation. Please also email me with the Tracking Number as soon as the package is shipped back.

If the item is a ‘Free Shipping’ item, you will be refunded your original purchase price less the shipping I incurred in originally shipping it to you. All of the other conditions above-mentioned also apply.
