A handsome Scottish made Tartanware needle holder dating to theVictorian era, around 1870.

The piece is in very good condition with the blue silkinterior lining still present and the spine possibly restored at some point. Thereis a small area of fraying near the top of the spine as shown, which is hardlyvisible.The little gold on black label remains on the top identifying thetartan or plaid as Prince Charlie. The crochet needles and pins have been addedto illustrate what these pieces could have been used for.
