A highly original Scottish Mahogany Tall Case Clock dating to around 1865. Original finish on the case, original paint on the dial, original feet (rare for a UK clock), original glass. So, compared to some, it\'s had a relatively easy life. Although the dial is unsigned, you can tell a Scottish clock from English by the short waist door; the exception would be a \"Yorkshire chubby\" but they have a different look.
All that originality gives you a very handsome clock. The movement was serviced and it runs and strikes fine.
