  This is a really fabulous fine porcelain gilt and navy blue background COFFEE CAN ... with a portrait hand painted on it.. of The Princess De Lamballe .... its a cabinet coffee can.. not made to be used.. but to be kept in a glass cabinet.

As you can see its in beautiful condition.... it has red hand written writing on the base as well as the Sevres date mark for 1786 ... the double I I mark in blue on the bottom.

It is in PERFECT condition..... its too good to be true really.. so in my opinion its a LATER date in the Sevres style ...if you google this Princess ...you will find alot of items similar.. they have been copied many times over...it could well be \" right \" but I think its not really got the wear to the bottom edge of the can if it is from 1786.....so just for the record I think its a later 19th Century copy.. it is probably still an Antique item...I dont see enough of the fine porcelain to know .......anyway I am sure you collectors of such pieces will know straight away.. we have many photographs of it for you to determine for yourselves.

The coffee can is 6.5cm tall x 64mm dia top rim..the handle sticks out a further 2.5cm.
