Edwardian set of 5 butter knives with sterling silver handles made byLee & Wigfull and assayed for Sheffield, 1902.
ConditionGreat vintage condition. Some scuffing; two of the knives have nicks on blades.

All my silver and silver plated items have been given a quick polish witheitherTableauorNushinewhich are advertised as plating solutions. Whilst they won’t silver plate your copper (contrary to what they may claim), I do recommend them for taking care of silver plated items in particular, as they won’t strip off the thin silver layer, unlike silver cleaning products.My full guide to cleaning silver and silver plate can befound here.
