I had never heard of such a picture until I saw it at an estate sale. It is an amazing silk woven picture with incredible detail. There are 13 men in the boat including the captain at the front. They are heading to a sinking ship, paddling with long oars. Storm clouds hover and another ship is on the left side of the picture near a lighthouse. It is a very stormy sea.
It is titled \"Called to the Rescue\". The overall size in the original frame is 9\" wide by 5 1/2\" high. A real treasure!
