A beautiful silver watch holder by William Comyns. Hall marked for Chester. The silver is dink and dent free and the cartouche has not been inscribed. The silver part of this watch holder has come unstuck from its support and just needs glueing back. I didn\'t want to do this as it is so nice it needs doing properly. Will come up superb after a clean. I\'m not sure of its date as it looks like a 1 but can\'t find this in any online guide so maybe someone could tell me.It measures 10cms diagonally and the watch aperture is 42mm. The case is by the renowned maker JC Vickery of London.
